Job Description

Roche is in search of a proactive and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and can provide technical assistance to employees and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.To be successful in this role, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as 2+ years of experience in a similar role. You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, an understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and hardware is required.If you have the skills and experience we’re looking for, and you’re interested in joining our team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to employees and customers.
  2. Resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  3. Monitor and maintain computer networks, operating systems, and hardware.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
  5. Identify and solve complex technical problems.
  6. Research and recommend innovative approaches for system enhancements.
  7. Document technical issues and resolutions in a Knowledge Base system.
  8. Collaborate with other IT professionals to understand customer requirements and develop solutions.
  9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  10. Train and mentor junior members of the IT team.
