Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor Health and Safety standards, policies, and programs.
2. Research and remain up-to-date on OSHA and EPA regulations.
3. Ensure that safety policies and procedures are followed.
4. Lead safety meetings and training sessions.
5. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
6. Investigate accidents and incidents and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.
7. Develop emergency response procedures and ensure they are communicated to staff.
8. Monitor safety data and develop reporting systems.
9. Provide guidance and advice on safety best practices.
10. Create and maintain safety protocols for hazardous materials.
