We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at Roche! The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all of our employees.If you have a passion for protecting people and the environment, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of experience in a related role, with knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Additionally, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.You must be eager to learn, passionate about protecting people and the environment, and have a great sense of responsibility and commitment to safety. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
  2. Monitor compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs.
  4. Investigate accidents and injuries, and report findings and recommendations for corrective action.
  5. Provide safety training to staff and educate them on potential hazards and preventive measures.
  6. Track records of employee safety training and certifications.
  7. Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives.
  8. Inspect work areas to identify potential safety hazards and risks.
  9. Prepare reports on safety performance and incident rates.
  10. Remain current on changes in safety regulations and best practices.
