Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Roblox's platform and community.
Collaborate with software engineers and other team members to design and implement new features and improvements for the platform.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Work closely with the community team to gather feedback and suggestions from players and developers to inform software development.
Assist with bug fixing and troubleshooting as needed.
Actively seek opportunities to learn and grow within the software engineering field.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
Contribute to the overall success and growth of the platform and community through creative and innovative ideas.
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and stakeholders.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions and decisions related to software development.

Job Qualifications

Strong Programming Skills: As A Software Engineer At Roblox, You Will Be Expected To Have A Strong Foundation In Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, Or Python. You Should Be Able To Write Clean, Efficient, And Maintainable Code.
Familiarity With Game Development: Roblox Is A Gaming Platform, So Having Experience With Game Development Tools And Techniques Is A Plus. This Includes Knowledge Of Game Engines Like Unity Or Unreal, As Well As Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Lua.
Communication And Teamwork: You Will Be Working Closely With Other Engineers, Designers, And Product Managers At Roblox. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Passion For Learning: At Roblox, We Are Constantly Evolving And Adapting To New Technologies And Trends In The Gaming Industry. We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are Passionate About Learning And Are Always Seeking New Challenges And Opportunities For Growth.
