Job Description

Perform monthly GL accounting close tasks, including but not limited to preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for the assigned areas that may include cash, stock-based compensation, prepaids and expense accruals. Complete complex research and inquiries of GL transactions and activities. Assist GL Accounting team with any ad hoc requests or responsibilities, including additional sections within the monthly close process. Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement. Assist in development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures. Coordinate internal & external audit and tax requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentation. Be responsible for performing SOX internal controls over assigned areas. Assist with accounting integration activities, which includes implementing a variety of finance and accounting related software solutions.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience; Big 4 background preferred, CPA a plus.
Netsuite experience a plus.
Willingness to contribute beyond the defined role to meet our needs as circumstances require.
An eye for detail; you triple check your work to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
