At Roblox, we are looking to add a creative and innovative Senior Applications Software Engineer to our Marketplace team. As a Senior Applications Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, coding, and supporting our Marketplace platform, which serves as the primary way for our users to access new content to enjoy within the Roblox platform.We are looking for someone who has a strong background in software engineering and a passion for developing innovative and engaging applications. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience developing applications and software. We would prefer an individual who has experience with web-based technologies, as well as a familiarity with the Roblox platform.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate engineers and developers. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, can work in a collaborative environment, and has great problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

Develop, code and support the Marketplace platform for the Roblox platform
Develop innovative and engaging applications for the Marketplace platform
Troubleshoot and debug software applications
Monitor performance of applications and analyze user feedback
Test and document software for team members
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new technologies
Research new technologies and trends to develop more efficient applications
Analyze user requirements and design software solutions
Provide technical assistance and support for application issues
Ensure software applications are secure and up-to-date
