Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Software Engineer, Developer Productivity, to join our Roblox team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that will enable our developers to be more productive. You will also be responsible for managing high-level technical decisions and ensuring that all software is up to standard.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of software engineering principles. You should have a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should also have experience with developing software solutions for large-scale projects. Additionally, knowledge of popular programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is highly desirable.We are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset and a passion for developing software to help our developers be more productive. You should be a strong problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Develop software solutions for large-scale projects that enable developers to be more productive.
Manage high-level technical decisions and ensure software is up to standard.
Stay up-to-date on software engineering principles and popular programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
