- Develop and implement product strategy and roadmap for safety and moderation on the Roblox platform.
- Lead a team of product managers and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of safety and moderation initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry best practices and develop innovative solutions to enhance safety and community management on the platform.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on business goals and user needs.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to safety and moderation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to, legal, trust and safety, and community teams.
- Communicate product updates and progress to leadership and other relevant departments.
- Continuously monitor and analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in online safety and moderation practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other product managers on the team.
- Uphold the company's values and promote a safe and positive user experience on the platform.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Product Management: A Principal/Senior Product Manager At Roblox Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Product Management Principles And Best Practices. They Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Launching Products, As Well As Managing Product Lifecycles.
Expertise In Safety And Moderation: The Primary Responsibility Of A Principal/Senior Product Manager At Roblox Is To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of The Platform's Users. Therefore, They Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Safety And Moderation Practices, Including The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks And Issues.
