We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Developer Engagement Representative to join our team in Japan on a part-time contract basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our talented community of game developers, providing support, guidance, and strategic insights to help them succeed on our platform. Act as the main point of contact for our community of game developers in Japan, providing them with exceptional support and guidance to help them succeed on our platform.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with our game developers, understanding their needs and challenges and providing strategic insights to help them achieve their goals.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the Japanese gaming market, and use this knowledge to provide valuable feedback and recommendations to our developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure the needs of our Japanese game developers are represented and addressed.
Plan and execute developer engagement initiatives, such as workshops, events, and webinars, to educate and empower our developers and strengthen their relationship with our platform.
Monitor and analyze developer activity and performance on our platform, providing regular reports and insights to the team to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Continuously monitor and ensure the quality and integrity of our game content, working closely with developers to address any issues or concerns.
Act as a brand ambassador for Roblox, promoting our platform and values within the Japanese gaming community and building awareness and excitement for our brand.
Stay organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication with all stakeholders.
Contribute to the overall growth and success of Roblox in Japan by sharing ideas, providing feedback, and actively participating in team meetings and strategy sessions.

Job Qualifications

Fluency In Japanese And English: As A Developer Engagement Representative In Japan, It Is Essential To Be Fluent In Both Japanese And English Languages. This Will Allow For Effective Communication With Japanese Developers And The Roblox Team.
Knowledge Of The Japanese Gaming Market: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Japanese Gaming Market, Including Popular Trends, Platforms, And Competition. This Knowledge Will Help In Building Relationships With Japanese Developers And Promoting The Roblox Platform.
Experience In Customer Service Or Sales: A Developer Engagement Representative Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Developers In Japan. Experience In Customer Service Or Sales Will Be Beneficial In Understanding The Needs Of Developers And Effectively Promoting The Benefits Of Using Roblox.
Technical Background: A Basic Understanding Of Coding And Game Development Will Be Advantageous In This Role. This Will Help In Understanding The Technical Aspects Of The Roblox Platform And Communicating It To Developers In Japan.
Flexibility And Time Management Skills: As A Part-Time Contract Position, The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Flexibility To Work According To The Needs Of The Role. Strong Time Management Skills Are Also Necessary To Balance Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities As A Developer Engagement Representative At Roblox.
