As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced GSOC & Intelligence Manager to join our Global Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and managing intelligence gathering and analysis efforts to ensure the safety and security of our platform and community. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to ensure the safety and security of the platform and community.
Manage and lead a team of GSOC analysts, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to handle potential threats and incidents.
Develop and implement strategies and procedures for threat detection, monitoring, and response within the GSOC.
Monitor and analyze data and intelligence from various sources to identify potential risks and threats to the platform and community.
Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and product teams, to address security concerns and implement necessary changes.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to gather and share intelligence on potential threats and risks.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the GSOC's capabilities.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the GSOC's processes and procedures are effective and efficient.
Create and maintain incident response plans and protocols for various types of security incidents.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the GSOC's activities and effectiveness.
Manage the budget and resources for the GSOC, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.
Act as a point of contact for any security incidents or concerns, providing guidance and support to the team and other departments as needed.
Foster a culture of safety and security within the company and promote awareness and education on potential risks and threats.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all security measures are in line with industry standards and regulations.
Continuously evaluate and improve the GSOC's processes and procedures to maintain a high level of security and protection for the platform and community.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Global Security Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Global Security Operations, Preferably In A Multinational Organization. This Experience Should Include Direct Involvement In Intelligence Gathering And Analysis, Crisis Management, And Risk Assessment.
Strong Understanding Of The Gaming Industry: As The Leading Online Gaming Platform, Roblox Operates In A Unique Environment That Requires A Deep Understanding Of The Industry. The Gsoc & Intelligence Manager Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of The Gaming Industry, Including Current Trends, Potential Threats, And Best Practices For Ensuring The Safety And Security Of Online Communities.
Proficiency In Intelligence Gathering And Analysis: The Gsoc & Intelligence Manager Will Be Responsible For Monitoring And Analyzing Intelligence From Various Sources To Identify Potential Threats To Roblox's Global Operations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record In Intelligence Gathering And Analysis, Including Experience With Open Source Intelligence Tools And Techniques.
Crisis Management Experience: In The Event Of A Crisis, The Gsoc & Intelligence Manager Will Be Responsible For Coordinating And Leading The Response Efforts. Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Crisis Management And Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Remain Calm And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, The Gsoc & Intelligence Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Professionals And Collaborating With Various Departments And External Partners. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Coordinate Efforts With All Stakeholders Involved In Ensuring The Safety And Security Of Roblox's Global Operations.
