Connect with developers: Act as the main point of contact for developers on the Roblox platform, building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
Understand developer needs: Gather feedback from developers and use it to inform decisions and initiatives within the organization.
Provide support and guidance: Assist developers with any issues or questions they may have, and provide them with resources and guidance to help them succeed on the platform.
Advocate for developers’ needs: Serve as a voice for developers within the organization, advocating for their needs and interests to ensure their success on the platform.
Foster a strong developer community: Develop and implement strategies to engage and connect with developers, creating a supportive and collaborative community.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep informed about emerging trends and best practices in game development, and use this knowledge to inform and improve the developer experience on Roblox.
Promote the platform: Act as a brand ambassador for Roblox, promoting the platform and its benefits to potential and existing developers.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with other teams within the organization, such as marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure a seamless developer experience on the platform.
Plan and execute events: Organize and execute events, both virtual and in-person, to bring developers together and foster a sense of community.
Monitor and report on developer satisfaction: Track and report on developer satisfaction and engagement metrics, using this data to inform future initiatives and improvements.

Job Qualifications

Strong Technical Background: A Developer Engagement Representative At Roblox Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Programming Languages, Coding, And Software Development. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Communicating Effectively With Developers And Understanding Their Needs.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Developers, Both Verbally And In Writing, Is Crucial For A Developer Engagement Representative. They Should Be Able To Explain Complex Technical Concepts In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Customer Service Experience: This Role Requires A Strong Focus On Building And Maintaining Relationships With Developers. Previous Experience In Customer Service Or Account Management Would Be Beneficial In Understanding The Needs Of Developers And Providing Exceptional Support.
Passion For Gaming And The Roblox Platform: A Successful Developer Engagement Representative Should Have A Genuine Interest In Gaming And The Roblox Platform. This Passion Will Be Evident In Their Interactions With Developers And Their Ability To Advocate For The Platform.
Problem-Solving Skills: Developers May Encounter Technical Issues Or Have Complex Questions That Require Troubleshooting. A Developer Engagement Representative Should Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Find Solutions And Provide Timely And Effective Support To Developers.
