  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers within the gaming industry.
  2. Act as the main point of contact for developers and provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Represent the company and its values while interacting with developers.
  4. Collaborate with various teams within the company to develop strategies for engaging developers.
  5. Monitor and analyze developer activity and provide insights to improve engagement.
  6. Identify and recruit potential new developers to join the Roblox community.
  7. Educate developers on the platform, its features, and best practices.
  8. Actively listen to and address developer concerns and issues.
  9. Attend industry events and conferences to promote Roblox and build relationships with developers.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to the team.
  11. Create engaging experiences and events for developers to foster a sense of community.
  12. Continuously work to improve processes and strategies for engaging with developers.
  13. Maintain accurate records of developer interactions and provide regular reports to management.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote developer success stories and achievements.
  15. Continuously seek out and implement new ways to improve developer engagement and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Background: A Developer Engagement Representative At Roblox Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Coding And Programming Languages, As Well As Experience With Game Development Platforms Such As Unity Or Unreal Engine.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Communication With Developers, Both In-Person And Online. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Convey Technical Information And Build Relationships With Developers.

  • Passion For Gaming And The Roblox Platform: Roblox Is A Unique Platform That Combines Gaming, Social Media, And User-Generated Content. A Developer Engagement Representative Should Have A Strong Passion For The Platform And Be Familiar With Its Community And Culture.

  • Experience In Community Management: As A Developer Engagement Representative, It Is Important To Understand How To Foster And Maintain A Positive And Active Community. Previous Experience In Community Management Or Social Media Management Is A Valuable Qualification For This Role.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Developers May Encounter Technical Issues Or Have Questions About The Platform, And It Is The Responsibility Of The Developer Engagement Representative To Assist And Find Solutions. A Strong Problem Solver With The Ability To Think Creatively And Troubleshoot Technical Issues Is An Important Qualification For This Role.
