Job Description

Roblox is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Counsel to join our Legal department. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory issues associated with cyber security, data privacy, and information technology. If you are passionate about staying up to date on the latest cybersecurity laws and regulations and possess strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, we would love to hear from you!To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree and be admitted to the bar in at least one US jurisdiction. You must also have at least 8 years of experience in a legal role with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy and/or information technology. Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus.You must also have strong analytical problem-solving skills, a passion for staying up to date on the latest cybersecurity laws and regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the legal and regulatory issues associated with cyber security, data privacy, and information technology.
Keep up to date on the latest cybersecurity laws and regulations.
Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Possess a Juris Doctorate degree and be admitted to the bar in at least one US jurisdiction.
Have at least 8 years of experience in a legal role with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy and/or information technology.
Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Negotiate and draft contracts related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
Provide legal advice and guidance on cybersecurity, data privacy, and information technology matters.
