Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supplier diversity initiatives, ensuring that our supplier base reflects the diversity of our customers and communities.   1. Develop and implement supplier diversity initiatives to increase the diversity of our supplier base.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that supplier diversity goals align with company values and diversity and inclusion strategies.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential diverse suppliers and maintain a database of qualified suppliers.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers to foster partnerships and promote long-term business opportunities.
  5. Work with procurement teams to include diverse supplier requirements in the sourcing and bidding process.
  6. Monitor and track supplier diversity spend and report on progress to senior leadership.
  7. Educate and train employees on the importance of supplier diversity and how to incorporate it into their roles and responsibilities.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in supplier diversity and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with external organizations and associations focused on diversity and inclusion to expand our network of diverse suppliers.
  10. Ensure compliance with supplier diversity regulations and requirements, and provide guidance and support to suppliers on how to become certified.
  11. Act as a liaison between the company and diverse supplier organizations, attending events and conferences to promote our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote our supplier diversity initiatives and successes internally and externally.
  13. Monitor and address any supplier diversity-related issues or concerns, working to find solutions and maintain positive relationships.
  14. Act as an ambassador for diversity and inclusion within the company, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  15. Regularly track and report on supplier diversity metrics and provide recommendations for improvement to senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Diversity Or Supplier Management Roles.

  • Strong Understanding Of Diversity And Inclusion Principles And Best Practices.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Supplier Diversity Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders.
