  1. Lead a team of security operations and vulnerability management experts, providing guidance, training, and support.
  2. Manage day-to-day operations and ensure the team is meeting objectives and deadlines.
  3. Develop and implement strategies for identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
  4. Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and industry best practices to continuously improve security measures.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, to communicate security risks and recommendations.
  7. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  8. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  9. Lead and participate in security incident response and remediation.
  10. Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity.
  11. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
  12. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
  13. Monitor and analyze security logs and data to identify potential security incidents.
  14. Prepare and present security reports to senior management.
  15. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity to ensure the company's security measures are up-to-date and effective.

  • Extensive Experience In Security Operations: A Secops Vm Team Lead At Ringcentral Should Have A Strong Background In Security Operations, Including Experience In Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, And Security Monitoring.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Provide Guidance And Direction. They Should Also Have The Ability To Delegate Tasks And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Their Goals.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Virtualization Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Virtualization Technology And Its Security Implications. This Includes Experience With Virtualization Platforms Such As Vmware, Hyper-V, And Kvm, As Well As Knowledge Of Virtualization Security Best Practices.

  • Familiarity With Cloud Security: Ringcentral Operates In A Cloud-Based Environment, So Experience With Cloud Security Is A Must For A Secops Vm Team Lead. The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Cloud Security Principles, Tools, And Techniques, And Have Experience In Securing Cloud-Based Infrastructure And Applications.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
