1. Research and source high-quality textiles for use in home furnishings collections.
2. Collaborate closely with design team to ensure textiles meet standards of quality and style.
3. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in the textile market.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with textile suppliers and vendors.
5. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
6. Conduct quality control checks on all textiles to ensure they meet company standards.
7. Manage and maintain inventory of textiles, tracking orders and shipments.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate production and delivery of textiles.
9. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of textiles.
10. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all textile sourcing and development processes.
11. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to textile sourcing and development.
12. Monitor and track market trends and competitor products to inform textile development decisions.
13. Provide guidance and support to design team in selecting appropriate textiles for specific products.
14. Collaborate with marketing team to create and review product descriptions and marketing materials related to textiles.
