1. Maintain inventory levels: Regularly monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock to management.
2. Receive and process shipments: Receive and process incoming shipments according to company procedures, including checking for accuracy and quality of products.
3. Stock and replenish merchandise: Keep store shelves and displays fully stocked and visually appealing by regularly replenishing merchandise and adjusting displays.
4. Organize and maintain stockrooms: Ensure stockroom is clean, organized, and easy to navigate for efficient restocking and inventory management.
5. Collaborate with sales team: Communicate with sales associates to understand current and upcoming sales, promotions, and product information to ensure proper stock levels.
6. Assist with visual displays: Work with visual merchandising team to assist in creating visually appealing displays that showcase products and inspire customers.
7. Maintain store appearance: Regularly walk the store floor to ensure products are properly displayed and the store is clean and organized.
8. Process customer orders: Assist in processing and fulfilling customer orders, including locating products, packaging, and shipping.
9. Uphold company standards: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety standards and merchandising guidelines.
10. Provide exceptional customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance as needed to create a positive shopping experience.
11. Stay updated on product knowledge: Continuously educate yourself on new products and promotions to better assist customers and make recommendations.
12. Support store operations: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as store opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness.
