- Identify and research market trends and customer preferences to inform product development strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, and merchandising to develop new product concepts.
- Conduct competitive analysis and product benchmarking to ensure our products stand out in the market.
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timelines are met and products meet quality standards.
- Work closely with designers and vendors to develop product specifications and prototypes.
- Continuously review and provide feedback on product samples to ensure they align with brand standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct market and consumer research to gather insights and inform product development decisions.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and product specifications.
- Keep track of product development budgets and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in materials, technology, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to create product launch plans and marketing strategies.
- Assist with product presentations and participate in product line reviews and trade shows.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards for product development.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and creativity within the product development team.
- Act as a brand ambassador and uphold the company's values and standards in all product development processes.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Product Development Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Design And Manufacturing Processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Industrial Design, Engineering, Or Related Field.
Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize And Meet Deadlines.
Proficient In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Microsoft Office.
