  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product development strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  2. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify new opportunities for product development.
  3. Work closely with the design team to conceptualize and develop new product ideas and concepts.
  4. Utilize strong design skills to create detailed product specifications and technical drawings.
  5. Manage the product development process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  6. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and negotiate costs.
  7. Conduct regular product testing and evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform product development decisions.
  9. Work closely with the marketing team to develop product launch strategies and promotional materials.
  10. Continuously review and improve product development processes and procedures.
  11. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure products meet all necessary requirements.
  12. Attend trade shows and industry events to gather inspiration and stay informed on market trends.
  13. Mentor and train junior product development team members.
  14. Represent Restoration Hardware as a brand ambassador and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Product Development: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Development, Preferably In The Home Furnishings Or Retail Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Market Trends And Consumer Behavior: Understanding Of Current Market Trends And Consumer Behavior In The Home Furnishings Industry, Including Knowledge Of Competitive Products And Pricing.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meet Deadlines, And Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Design And Technical Expertise: Knowledge Of Design Principles And Technical Specifications For Furniture, Textiles, And Other Home Décor Products.
