Welcome to the world of luxury home furnishings and design! We are seeking a Gallery Associate to join our team at Restoration Hardware. As a Gallery Associate, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients in creating their dream living space. Our ideal candidate is someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and has a passion for interior design.   1. Greet and welcome customers to the gallery with a friendly and professional attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, providing product information, and offering design advice.
  3. Assist clients in creating their dream living space by understanding their needs, preferences, and budget.
  4. Maintain a strong knowledge of the products offered in the gallery and stay up-to-date on new collections and trends.
  5. Ensure the gallery is properly stocked and visually appealing at all times.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the company's POS system.
  7. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  8. Collaborate with the design team to assist in creating visual displays and vignettes to showcase products.
  9. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in interior design and luxury home furnishings.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
  11. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, punctuality, and professionalism.
  13. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Proactively communicate with management regarding customer feedback, sales trends, and inventory needs.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Gallery Manager or other members of the management team.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Art And Design: A Gallery Associate At Restoration Hardware Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Art And Design Principles To Assist Customers With Product Selection And Provide Insight On The Artwork Displayed In The Gallery.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: This Role Requires Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Customers And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience. A Gallery Associate Should Be Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Build Relationships With Clients.

  • Sales Experience: Restoration Hardware Is A Luxury Brand, So Experience In Sales, Preferably In A High-End Retail Environment, Is A Key Qualification For A Gallery Associate. This Person Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Attention To Detail: A Gallery Associate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That The Gallery Space Is Well-Maintained, And Products Are Displayed Attractively. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The Restoration Hardware Brand And Be Able To Maintain Its Visual Standards.

  • Team Player: As A Gallery Associate, You Will Be Working Closely With Other Team Members, Including Designers, Sales Associates, And Management. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Others, Take Direction Well, And Contribute To A Positive And Productive Work Environment.
