- Provide exceptional customer service to all gallery visitors, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic ambassador for the brand, sharing information about the company's history, products, and services with customers.
- Greet and engage customers, building relationships and identifying their specific art and design needs.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting the perfect art pieces and collections to meet their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized gallery space, ensuring all art pieces are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Handle transactions and process sales accurately and efficiently, including cash and credit card transactions.
- Stay up-to-date on all new and current art pieces and collections, as well as any promotions or sales.
- Collaborate with the gallery team to plan and execute events, such as gallery openings and special exhibits.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and pricing new art pieces.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed at all times.
- Attend and actively participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Art And Design: A Gallery Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Art Styles, Techniques And Design Principles To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Assist Them In Making Purchasing Decisions.
Customer Service Skills: This Role Requires Excellent Customer Service Skills To Provide A Positive And Welcoming Environment For Customers. A Gallery Associate Should Be Able To Handle Customer Inquiries, Complaints, And Provide Assistance In A Professional And Friendly Manner.
Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience Is Valuable For A Gallery Associate As They Will Be Responsible For Promoting And Selling Artwork To Customers. This Includes Knowledge Of Sales Strategies, Effective Communication, And The Ability To Close Sales.
Attention To Detail: A Gallery Associate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Artwork Is Properly Displayed And Maintained. They Should Also Be Able To Accurately Handle And Process Sales Transactions And Maintain Inventory.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Inventory, Maintain Displays, And Assist With Gallery Events. The Gallery Associate Should Also Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively And Prioritize Tasks To Ensure A Smooth Operation Of The Gallery.
