- Plan and execute events that align with the brand's image and values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event concepts, themes, and strategies.
- Manage event budgets, including vendor contracts, invoices, and expenses.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services within budget.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, and transportation.
- Develop event timelines and oversee event set-up and breakdown.
- Communicate event details and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and drive attendance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees and handle any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event planning processes.
- Maintain organized event files and documentation for future reference.
- Assist in the planning and execution of virtual events, as needed.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and colleagues.
- Represent the brand and uphold its image during events.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Act as a brand ambassador and embody the company's culture and values.
Relevant Experience In Event Planning: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Planning, Preferably In A Retail Or Luxury Setting. Experience In Organizing Large-Scale Events And Managing Vendor Relationships Is Also Highly Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Event Coordinator, You Will Be Working With Various Teams And Stakeholders, Including Vendors, Clients, And Internal Departments. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Coordinating And Executing Events.
Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: Events Require Meticulous Planning And Execution, With Many Moving Parts To Manage. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Organizational Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
