Knowledge of the hospitality industry and its vendors is also a plus. The successful candidate must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be confident in making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and identify potential venues for upcoming events
2. Develop event plans for each event, taking into account budget, objectives, and timeline
3. Coordinate and liaise with vendors to ensure their services are delivered on time and within budget
4. Create and manage event timelines to ensure all tasks and pre-event preparations are completed
5. Track event expenses and ensure accurate records are kept
6. Develop and implement event marketing strategies
7. Monitor event progress and evaluate success metrics
8. Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with vendors, partners, and clients
9. Ensure all event safety and security protocols are followed
10. Create post-event reports and reviews to analyze successes and areas of improvement
