  1. Receive and process incoming shipments of home furnishings and décor products.
  2. Prepare products for shipping by carefully packing and labeling them according to company standards.

  4. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and store products.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  6. Inspect and report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate department.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  8. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  9. Communicate with supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns.
  10. Assist in other areas of the distribution center as needed.
  11. Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
  12. Uphold company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.
  13. Provide excellent customer service by promptly and professionally addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Distribution Center Associate Should Have A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures Basic Literacy And Numeracy Skills, As Well As The Ability To Follow Written And Verbal Instructions Effectively.

  • Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center: While Not Always Required, Having Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Setting Is Highly Preferred. This Demonstrates An Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Safety Protocols, And Handling Of Inventory.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Distribution Center Associate, One Will Be Responsible For Organizing, Picking, And Packing Inventory. It Is Essential To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Efficiency In These Tasks.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects: Distribution Center Associates Are Required To Move And Lift Heavy Boxes And Furniture, Often Weighing Up To 50 Pounds. Therefore, Physical Strength And Stamina Are Necessary For This Role.
