Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Distribution Center Associate. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong work ethic.   1. Receive and process incoming shipments of products from suppliers.
  2. Stock and organize products in the distribution center according to company standards.
  3. Pick and pack products for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the distribution center.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.
  8. Follow company policies and procedures for handling and storing products.
  9. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  13. Continuously strive to improve processes and efficiency in the distribution center.
  14. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Distribution Center Associate At Restoration Hardware Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent To Demonstrate A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Tasks Such As Lifting, Loading, And Unloading Heavy Objects, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Stand For Long Periods Of Time.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In Tracking And Handling Inventory, So A Distribution Center Associate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure All Products Are Accounted For And Stored Correctly.

  • Technical Skills: Basic Computer Skills And The Ability To Operate Inventory Management Software Are Essential To The Role, As Well As The Ability To Use Handheld Scanners And Other Warehouse Equipment.

  • Team Player Mentality: The Distribution Center Associate Will Work Closely With Other Team Members To Ensure Efficient And Timely Order Processing And Shipment, So A Collaborative And Team-Oriented Mindset Is Important For Success In This Role.
