Design Studio Specialist

We’re looking for a Design Studio Specialist to join our team at Restoration Hardware. The successful candidate will have a passion for interior design and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. The Design Studio Specialist should have a strong eye for detail and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. If you have a drive to learn and grow with us, then we’d love to hear from you.To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in a retail or interior design environment, and a demonstrated understanding of the principles of design. Knowledge of furniture, fabrics, and finishes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service to visitors of the Design Studio
2. Demonstrate a strong eye for detail in the selection and presentation of products
3. Maintain a high level of organization and communication with both customers and colleagues
4. Actively promote the principles of design to customers
5. Assist customers with selecting furniture, fabrics, and finishes
6. Remain up to date on product knowledge and current trends in interior design
7. Ensure the Design Studio is clean and organized at all times
8. Provide feedback to management on customer service issues and potential process improvements
9. Participate in special marketing and promotional events as required
