Intern - Clinical Pharmacy

You should also have a valid CA driver’s license and current CPR certification. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of clinical pharmacy practice.
2. Provide medication and treatment advice to patients and health care providers.
3. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust medications accordingly.
4. Participate in clinical research and studies.
5. Assess drug interactions and provide patient education.
6. Participate in departmental activities and maintain professional relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.
7. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and laws.
8. Maintain accurate records of patient care and medication orders.
9. Participate in drug utilization review activities.
10. Assist with the development and implementation of pharmacy protocols and policies.
