Imaging Intern

Renown Health is currently seeking an enthusiastic Imaging Intern to join our team. You will gain valuable experience and knowledge of medical imaging processes while working closely with our experienced imaging professionals.The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. You should have a basic understanding of medical imaging technology and an interest in improving patient care. The successful candidate will be a great communicator, able to build relationships with colleagues and patients alike.To be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver’s license, completed coursework in medical imaging, and be enrolled in an accredited medical imaging program. Experience in the medical imaging field is preferred but not required.We are excited to welcome a new Imaging Intern who is ready to take on this rewarding opportunity!

Responsibilities:

1. Follow hospital policies and procedures related to medical imaging.
2. Assist with the setup and operation of medical imaging equipment.
3. Observe and participate in imaging procedures and examinations.
4. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
5. Monitor patient safety during imaging procedures.
6. Provide patient care and comfort during imaging procedures.
7. Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
8. Collect imaging data and enter it into electronic records.
9. Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
10. Participate in continuing education and training related to medical imaging.
