Job Description

Renown Health is looking for an experienced, dedicated Critical Care Technician to join our critical care team. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent patient care and will be an excellent communicator and team player.The Critical Care Technician will be responsible for providing direct patient care and performing a variety of technical duties in the critical care environment. This individual must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide the highest quality of care.Required qualifications for the Critical Care Technician include an Associate Degree in Nursing or a completion of a Medical Assistant program, an active certification/license in the state of Nevada, and a minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will have a current CPR certification, basic EKG classes, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented, and has the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of a Critical Care Technician:

  1. Provide direct patient care in a critical care environment.
  2. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  3. Perform a variety of technical duties as needed.
  4. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.
  5. Follow safety procedures and regulations.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records.
  7. Document all patient care activities.
  8. Monitor and assess patient conditions.
  9. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  11. Assist with patient transfers.
  12. Assist with patient education and discharge instructions.
  13. Ensure patient comfort and safety.
  14. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns.
  15. Remain up-to-date on all relevant policies and procedures.
