Childbirth Educator

Renown Health is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Childbirth Educator to join our Women's Health team. Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable educator dedicated to helping expecting mothers and families understand the process of childbirth. The Childbirth Educator will provide education, support, and guidance to families throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in obstetrics, nursing, or childbirth education, as well as a current RN license in the state of Nevada. We are looking for someone with strong communication and teaching skills, as well as a passion for helping families navigate the transformative process of childbirth. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive childbirth education and support to expecting mothers and families.
2. Assist families with developing birth plans and navigating childbirth decisions.
3. Foster a supportive environment for families throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.
4. Utilize teaching methods such as lectures, videos, and group activities to ensure families are getting the most out of the childbirth education process.
5. Collaborate with obstetrics, nursing, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain current RN license in the state of Nevada.
7. Be knowledgeable about the latest trends and developments in childbirth education.
8. Develop and implement educational materials and resources.
9. Provide emotional support and guidance to families throughout the childbirth process.
10. Work in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse group of patients.
