Relx is seeking a Tax Writer to join our team and help develop educational content for our tax training courses. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your writing skills and tax expertise to create high-quality learning materials that will help professionals in the industry stay updated and informed.   1. Research and create engaging and informative content on various tax-related topics for use in training courses.
  2. Utilize tax expertise and industry knowledge to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and address knowledge gaps in existing training materials.
  4. Create and maintain a consistent tone and style throughout all written materials.
  5. Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  6. Ensure that all content is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Keep up-to-date with changes and updates in tax laws and regulations to ensure the accuracy of training materials.
  8. Work closely with the design team to incorporate visual aids and graphics to enhance the learning experience.
  9. Conduct research and gather data from reliable sources to support the content.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals to stay informed about emerging trends and changes in the tax industry.
  11. Collaborate with instructional designers to create effective and engaging learning activities to complement written content.
  12. Participate in team meetings and provide input on ways to improve and enhance training materials.
  13. Meet project deadlines and assist with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of training materials to ensure the best learning experience for professionals.
  15. Adhere to brand standards and guidelines in all written materials.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: A Qualified Tax Writer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations At Both The Federal And State Level. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Any Changes Or Updates To Tax Codes.

  • Strong Writing And Communication Skills: As A Tax Writer, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Tax Information In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Crucial. This Includes Writing For Various Mediums Such As Print, Online, And Multimedia.

  • Experience In Educational Materials Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Creating Educational Materials Such As Textbooks, Training Manuals, Or Online Courses. This Shows A Strong Understanding Of Instructional Design And The Ability To Present Information In A Structured And Organized Manner.

  • Attention To Detail: Tax Laws And Regulations Can Be Complex And Often Require Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy. A Qualified Tax Writer Should Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Any Potential Errors Or Inconsistencies In Their Work.
