Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Relx as a Solutions Account Manager for our Research Intelligence division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our clients to drive revenue and promote our range of solutions.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to drive revenue and promote our range of solutions.
  2. Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  3. Identify and understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize client retention and growth.
  5. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential business opportunities.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on product enhancements, new offerings, and other relevant information.
  8. Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  9. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on our solutions, staying knowledgeable about product features, benefits, and capabilities.
  11. Attend industry conferences and events to network and represent our company and solutions.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Research Intelligence Software And Solutions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Research Intelligence Market, Including The Various Software And Solutions Available, Their Features And Benefits, And How They Can Be Applied To Different Industries And Organizations.

  • Proven Track Record In Sales And Account Management: The Solutions Account Manager Should Have A Successful Track Record In Sales And Account Management, Preferably In The Research Intelligence Or Related Industry. This Includes Experience In Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, Identifying And Pursuing New Business Opportunities, And Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Solutions Account Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, As Well As Working Closely With Internal Teams Such As Product Development And Marketing. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Complex Information, Understanding Client Needs, And Collaborating With Colleagues.

  • Knowledge Of The Research Process And Industry Trends: In Order To Effectively Sell And Manage Research Intelligence Solutions, The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of The Research Process And How It Is Evolving. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Industry Trends, Technological Advancements, And Changes In The Competitive Landscape.

  • Ability To Understand And Articulate Technical Information: While The Solutions Account Manager Does Not Need To Have A Technical Background, They Should Be Able To Understand And Articulate Technical Information To Clients And Internal Teams. This Includes Being Able To Explain The Features And Benefits Of Different Research Intelligence Solutions And How They Can Be Customized To Meet Specific Client Needs.
