- Lead and manage a team of quality engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Develop and implement quality engineering strategies and processes to improve product reliability, functionality, and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product functionality and performance.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in quality engineering, making recommendations for process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between the quality engineering team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new team members, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for product quality and safety.
- Handle any escalated quality issues, working towards timely resolution and preventing future occurrences.
- Manage department budget and resources effectively to meet quality objectives.
- Act as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and dedication to quality within the organization.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Quality Engineering And Management.
Strong Understanding Of Quality Management Principles And Methodologies, Such As Six Sigma And Lean.
Experience In Managing And Leading Quality Improvement Projects.
