- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top industry talent to Elsevier at Relx.
- Create and maintain a strong employer brand to enhance the company's reputation and attract top talent.
- Oversee the recruitment process and collaborate with hiring managers to identify and select the best candidates for open positions.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth and successful integration into the company.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies to create a positive and engaged workforce.
- Oversee performance management programs and provide guidance and support to managers in effectively managing employee performance.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Analyze talent data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of talent and capability strategies with business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support the company's growth and success.
- Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals to ensure alignment and achievement of departmental goals.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in talent management and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to perform at their best.
- Communicate and report on talent and capability initiatives and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Elsevier at Relx and our values to external audiences.
Extensive Experience In Talent Management And Development: The Head Of Talent And Capability Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Talent Management Strategies, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, And Other Related Programs.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Talent And Capability Professionals, As Well As Collaborate With Other Senior Leaders And Stakeholders Across The Organization.
Expertise In Learning And Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Best Practices In Learning And Development, Including E-Learning, Blended Learning, And Other Innovative Approaches.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Results: The Head Of Talent And Capability Will Be Responsible For Developing And Executing Strategies That Have A Direct Impact On The Organization's Talent And Capability. Therefore, They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Measurable Results And Driving Positive Change.
