In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.   1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Malaysian market.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and target industries.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts and relationships with potential clients.
  4. Actively promote and market RELX's products and services to potential clients.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of RELX's offerings.
  7. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business.
  8. Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  9. Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress and results to the management team.
  10. Contribute to the overall growth and success of RELX through achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  11. Keep abreast of the latest developments and advancements in the industry to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Act as a brand ambassador for RELX, representing the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Business Development Or Sales: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Business Development Or Sales, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of The Industry And Market Dynamics In Malaysia.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Business Development Manager, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Potential Clients, Partners, And Internal Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets: This Role Requires The Candidate To Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Drive Business Growth And Generate Revenue For The Company.

  • Knowledge Of The Malaysian Market: In Order To Be Successful In This Role, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Malaysian Market And Its Business Landscape. This Includes Knowledge Of Local Regulations, Industry Trends, And Potential Competitors.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration Or A Related Field: A Degree In Business Administration Or A Related Field Is Highly Desirable For This Role. It Demonstrates The Candidate's Academic Background And Knowledge Of Business Principles, Which Are Essential For A Business Development Manager.
