
VP, Investment Accounting
At Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), we are looking for a Vice President, Investment Accounting who is eager to join a fast-paced, dynamic organization and have a significant impact on the company’s growth and success. The VP, Investment Accounting will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of RGA's investments and overall financial performance. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for excellence and possess the highest levels of professional and ethical behavior. The VP, Investment Accounting will need to have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the areas of financial reporting, accounting, and investment management, as well as a CPA or MBA. The VP, Investment Accounting will be a key leader within RGA and will have the opportunity to work with and lead a world-class team of professionals. Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of RGA’s investments and financial performance.
- Utilize financial reporting, accounting, and investment management knowledge to make decisions that benefit the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Lead a team of professionals and provide guidance to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and use it to make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and analyze trends in the investment and financial markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry developments and regulations.
- Manage and develop a team of financial professionals.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
