Valuation Data Analyst

At Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), we are looking for a highly motivated Valuation Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate should possess a combination of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with data and the ability to interpret and communicate complex datasets effectively.To be successful in this role, we require a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a focus on financial and valuation data. A Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other database programs, as well as the ability to develop and maintain accurate financial models is essential. A good understanding of reinsurance products and pricing, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and anomalies in financial and valuation data
2. Developing and maintaining accurate financial models using Microsoft Excel, Access, and other database programs
3. Interpreting and communicating results of data analysis to team members and stakeholders
4. Collaborating with team members to develop and implement strategies for data analysis
5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current reinsurance products and pricing
6. Utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively explain data analysis results
7. Adhering to RGA policies and procedures in all aspects of data analysis and reporting.
