Senior Underwriter, Commercial Real Estate
The Reinsurance Group of America is looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter, Commercial Real Estate to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Underwrite commercial real estate transactions, ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and review financial documents to assess risk and make sound underwriting decisions.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth underwriting process.
- Ensure all underwriting documents are up to date and properly filed.
- Monitor the performance of underwritten transactions, making recommendations as necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in the real estate market and adjust underwriting strategies accordingly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the underwriting process and policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters.
- Assist with the development of underwriting procedures and best practices.
