In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the implementation and maintenance of automated testing processes.   1. Develop and maintain automated testing processes for software products.
  2. Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  3. Collaborate with software developers to identify and address defects in a timely manner.
  4. Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
  6. Monitor and report testing progress and results to project stakeholders.
  7. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the automation process.
  8. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on automation best practices.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes and procedures.
  10. Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and provide feedback.
  11. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing.
  12. Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  13. Conduct root cause analysis for testing failures and implement corrective actions.
  14. Participate in the planning and estimation of testing efforts for new projects.
  15. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Automation Tools: A Senior Qa Automation Engineer At Reinsurance Group Of America Should Have A Strong Background In Automation Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, Or Cucumber. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Java Or Python.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Qa Processes And Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Assurance Processes And Methodologies Such As Agile, Scrum, Or Waterfall. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Executing Test Plans And Strategies.

  • Proficiency In Test Automation Frameworks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Designing And Implementing Test Automation Frameworks From Scratch. This Includes Knowledge Of Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, And Hybrid Frameworks.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Qa Automation Engineer Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Issues In The Software. They Should Also Be Able To Come Up With Creative Solutions To Improve The Overall Quality Of The Product.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Mentoring Other Team Members. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Convey Testing Results And Recommendations.
