Intern - Actuarial

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement actuarial models to calculate reinsurance premiums and analyze risk.
2. Utilize actuarial software such as Prophet, AXIS, or Vision to analyze data and create effective actuarial models.
3. Collaborate with experienced actuarial staff to gain knowledge and practical skills in the field.
4. Research and recommend changes to actuarial principles, methods, and regulations.
5. Develop presentations and reports to summarize results of actuarial analysis.
6. Ensure accuracy of data used in actuarial models.
7. Monitor and review actuarial models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
