As Executive Director & Actuary, Valuation, you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective actuarial support to the company and for developing and implementing strategies to improve the organization’s financial performance.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field, as well as at least 10 years of actuarial experience within the reinsurance industry. Responsibilities:
- Utilize actuarial skills to provide accurate and effective actuarial support to the company.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the organization’s financial performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to management.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the reinsurance industry and stay up to date with actuarial trends and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Manage and monitor the organization’s actuarial processes and procedures.
- Monitor the company’s financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Contribute to the development of company goals and objectives.
