We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development for our US Individual Life (USIL) division. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability in the USIL market through strategic partnerships, market analysis, and product development. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a strong leader with a proven track record of success in the insurance industry.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability for the US Individual Life division.
  2. Identify and establish partnerships with key players in the insurance industry to expand market reach and increase revenue.
  3. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and services that meet the needs of the USIL market.
  5. Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for all USIL business development initiatives and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.
  9. Present business development plans and progress reports to senior management.
  10. Continuously evaluate and optimize business development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and identify potential business opportunities.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and underwriting, to ensure a cohesive and successful business development strategy.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards in all business dealings.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the business development team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development Or Sales Within The Insurance Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Managing Business Relationships With Key Clients And Stakeholders.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Us Insurance Market, Including Knowledge Of Current Trends And Regulations.
