- Develop and implement the strategic direction for the Reinsurance Technology division, TAI, in alignment with the overall business objectives of the organization.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions that meet the specific needs of the reinsurance business.
- Ensure that TAI operates in accordance with industry best practices and regulations, and maintains a high level of security and data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology needs and roadmap for future development.
- Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the reinsurance industry, and make recommendations for their implementation to stay ahead of the competition.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Reinsurance Technology division.
- Develop and manage the TAI budget, ensuring cost-efficient and effective use of resources.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address technology-related risks and issues.
- Act as a representative of RGA in technology conferences, forums, and industry events to promote the organization's technology capabilities and establish strategic partnerships.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress, challenges, and opportunities within the Reinsurance Technology division.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to technology and data management.
- Drive a culture of diversity and inclusion within the Reinsurance Technology division.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures within TAI to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a key advisor to senior management on technology-related matters, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Reinsurance Technology division, promoting teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
