Job Description

Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) is searching for an Actuarial Assistant, Asset Liability Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial and actuarial forecasting, as well as the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models and analytics.We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in actuarial science, finance, and mathematics. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and analytics to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and actuarial forecasting.
  2. Provide timely and accurate actuarial analysis and advice to support decision making at RGA.
  3. Analyze and interpret complex financial and actuarial data.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  5. Utilize advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to support asset liability management.
  6. Perform financial and actuarial analysis on new and existing products.
  7. Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure RGA stays competitive.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  9. Participate in special projects as needed.
  10. Provide support and guidance to junior actuarial staff.
