
Technology Services Help Desk Technician
At Regions Financial Co., we are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping others with technology. We are looking for a Technology Services Help Desk Technician who will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be proactive and able to think outside the box when troubleshooting. The successful candidate should be highly organized and have an in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software, networking, and other IT systems. They should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and be comfortable working with remote clients. The following qualifications are required:
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users via phone, email, or other remote support technologies.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Configure and install computer equipment, systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain network component performance.
- Maintain and update records of customer service requests and resolutions.
- Create and maintain documentation outlining system configurations and user instructions.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their IT-related issues are adequately resolved.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users.
- Monitor progress of projects and escalate issues as needed.
