
Mortgage Loan Officer
At Regions Financial Co., we are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team and assist our customers in making informed decisions when it comes to their home financing needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the mortgage loan industry and a proven track record of successful loan origination and closing. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be a key member of our team, taking ownership of the customer’s experience and providing valuable guidance and advice during the mortgage loan process.The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with customers and referral sources. They will also be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail, enabling them to accurately assess customer needs and identify the best loan solutions for their individual circumstances. Additionally, they must be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting quickly to changing market conditions. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field is preferred. A valid state license and NMLS registration is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries relating to mortgage loan services, providing advice and guidance on various loan options.
- Establish strong relationships with customers and referral sources, relying on excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analyze customer needs and financial information, providing sound recommendations based on their individual circumstances.
- Assist customers throughout the loan origination and closing process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage loan industry, staying abreast of market conditions and changes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Prepare loan documents and verify accuracy of information.
- Monitor loan processing and provide updates to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the loan process.
