Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cobol Programming Language: As A Mainframe Developer At Regions Financial Co., A Strong Understanding Of Cobol Programming Is Essential. This Includes Knowledge Of Cobol Syntax, Data Structures, And Debugging Techniques.

  • Experience With Cics: Cics (Customer Information Control System) Is A Transaction Processing System Commonly Used In Mainframe Environments. A Mainframe Developer At Regions Financial Co. Should Have Hands-On Experience With Cics, Including Proficiency In Writing And Debugging Cics Programs.

  • Familiarity With Mainframe Development Tools: In Addition To Cobol And Cics, A Mainframe Developer At Regions Financial Co. Should Be Familiar With Other Mainframe Development Tools Such As Jcl (Job Control Language), Vsam (Virtual Storage Access Method), And Ims (Information Management System).

Knowledge Of Banking Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements Is Also Important For This Role.
