  1. Conduct audits and assessments of Regions Financial Co.'s cybersecurity processes and controls.
  2. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity measures and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  4. Lead and manage audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits and accurate reporting of findings.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and document evidence for audits.
  6. Identify and communicate potential risks and vulnerabilities to senior management.
  7. Make recommendations for improvements to cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
  8. Monitor and track remediation efforts for identified issues and ensure timely resolution.
  9. Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends and incorporate them into audit plans and procedures.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive risk management strategy.
  11. Provide guidance and support to other team members on cybersecurity best practices.
  12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of audit findings and recommendations.
  13. Prepare and present reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  14. Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of cybersecurity audit processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices: A Cybersecurity Senior Auditor At Regions Financial Co. Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Concepts, Including Risk Management, Threat Detection And Response, And Network Security.

  • Experience In Conducting Audits And Assessments: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Conducting Cybersecurity Audits And Assessments, Including Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, And Compliance Audits.

  • Familiarity With Industry Regulations And Standards: As A Senior Auditor, The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Regulations And Standards Such As Iso 27001, Nist Cybersecurity Framework, And Gdpr To Ensure Compliance And Identify Potential Gaps In The Company's Cybersecurity Posture.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Cybersecurity Senior Auditor Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Security Systems, Identify Vulnerabilities And Recommend Solutions To Mitigate Risks And Improve Security Posture.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Auditor Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Implement Security Controls And Address Any Identified Vulnerabilities.
