- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Create and maintain data quality standards and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of all data.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify and address any issues or discrepancies, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance best practices are followed and data is utilized effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance principles, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in data governance and make recommendations for adoption.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data flow diagrams to document data sources and processes.
- Communicate data governance policies and procedures to all stakeholders and ensure compliance throughout the organization.
- Train and educate employees on data governance principles, processes, and tools.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to identify and resolve data-related issues.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure data integrity and security.
- Participate in data governance meetings, forums, and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics on data governance activities and progress to management.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance standards and guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field
2-3 Years Of Experience In Data Governance Or Data Management Roles
Strong Understanding Of Data Governance Principles And Best Practices
Experience With Data Management Tools And Technologies, Such As Data Dictionaries, Metadata Management, And Data Quality Tools
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
