Assistant General Counsel

Responsibilities:

-Provide legal advice on various matters that affect Regions Financial Corporation

-Develop and maintain a strong understanding of corporate law

-Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Understand and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations

-Research and analyze legal issues and provide appropriate advice

-Draft, review, and/or edit contracts, agreements, or other legal documents

-Negotiate agreements with clients and other parties

-Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance

-Attend meetings and other legal-related activities

-Assist with the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures

-Provide education and training to internal staff on legal matters

-Manage and monitor the performance of outside counsel
